about Jodie:

Registered Weight Loss and Women's Health Nutritionist based in Dorset.

Nowadays I'm a busy mum of two so I understand how easily life can get in the way of us meeting our goals, and just how hard it is to prioritise ourselves. 

I grew up with low self esteem and a strong dislike of my body. Like most girls, my teens and early 20's were spent yo-yo dieting, but I grew tired of how miserable and anxious it made me feel. Coupled with working long hours, I quickly burnt out and became stuck in a cycle of restricting and overeating, with constant low energy and mood.

Studying Nutrition at uni + embracing exercise transformed my attitude towards food and health. There's a ton of misinformation online about what a "healthy diet" is (yes I'm looking at you Paleo, Keto + 1200 calorie diets), and I am here to help you identify what is BS, what's good for you and WHY. 

I feel passionate about helping women feel good about themselves and make positive changes that last by using evidence based behaviour change techniques. 

Final note - I'm down to earth and a realist. Healthy food has to be easy and taste delicious!
